Travel

The process of drawing after travelling is always an important way of reflecting upon those experiences which were most important to me. Slowly shaping and forming my memories into one complete image or a series of several images allows me to reflect on what, from the trip, affected me the most.
At it's finest, travelling is a process of learning and discovering through patient attention to those details which usually would go unnoticed. Through my illustrations I hope to communicate, via a suggestive atmosphere, this feeling of awe that rarely results without a deeper awareness of one’s surroundings.
