Magazines
Alongside my clients in the UK and US I have been fortunate enough to work with magazines in Finland, Switzerland and Sweden. The content of the illustrations featured here varies from questions surrounding meat or "fleisch" in Denkbilder, to speculations and research in Stanford Magazine as to whether excessive choice can stifle our ability to make simple decisions, to a short story in Kulttuurivihkot about a young boy who struggles to handle life in a pioneer camp in Finland after leaving his family home.
A piece for the Big Issue about dark dining or "blind restaurants".
Denkbilder cover for questions surrounding meat and Max Frisch
A piece for Stanford Magazine about choice experiments with jam
Cover for Grafia about advertising. Working directly with the AD we decided to advertise myself as illustrators are rarely seen or heard.
Piece for Plan B, an old music magazine, about Dixieland Jazz.
Piece for the HHMI about a scientist making a discovery from his apartment.
Piece for Kulttuurivihkot about a young boy at a Pioneer camp in Finland.
A short love story set in France for the Sunday Express
