My final degree project was an animation based on Graham Greenes novel "Brighton Rock". I also looked at the John Boulting film adaptation.
The animation is attempted to showing the new and old Brighton through long pans with cuts of old black and white 8mm footage and animation. I wanted to show the difference between the fish and chip, arcade machine culture that is now, and that which was back in the 1930s with the gangsters.
