No matter what the type of job the consensus is always the same. Take care of your employees and they will take care of you. Spending time or money on your employees lets them know that you value them. It doesn’t have to be anything big or fancy to mean a lot to someone. Do your best to pay your employees a fair wage. Sometimes even the best of bosses cannot be enough to keep an employee around if the pay is not enough. As time goes on inflation rises and the cost of living goes up. If wages do not go up eventually your employees will be at a place where they will have no choice but to find a higher paying job. Although they will appreciate the great employer that you were and the experience that you gave them this will put you in a place where you will be having to hire someone new and start over with your investment again. If your company is not able to give raises or pay very high the least you can do is communicate with your employees and explain to them why you are unable to pay more.
